Hi Everyone, After graduation from RHS in June of 68 I entered the US Army on August 23rd. After my discharge 3 years later in August of 1971 I worked at two gas stations in Rosamond while attending AVC. A year and a week after discharge from the Army I was back in northern California entering the CHP academy in Sacto. Sixteen weeks later I was assigned to the South LA area where I had spend the first 11 years of my life. I patrolled the San Diego and Harbor freeways for 8 months. In 1973 I was reassigned to the Lancaster CHP office by request. My Mother had previously been diagnosed with cancer in 1973.
