Ahhhhh...high school...what can I say...
Anyway...life did go on and got better :)
Workplace
Where to start...worked for two years after high school, then joined the Navy. After that it was a fast 14 years and now I'm working in the insurance industry in downtown Manhattan. Time seems to be slipping by and I wish I could do something to slow it down.
Military
My time was cut short by a knee injury, I wish it hadn't been, I enjoyed my time and I'll cherish the memories forever. I spent the first year in various schools ... from B E/E and Electricians "A" school during early to late '86, to...Expand for more
a "C" School in the San Fran area in late '86/'87. After that it was off to the USS Peleliu (LHA-5). That was when the injury occured, then it was about 5 months of rehab at the Long Beach Naval Hospital followed by shore duty at COMNAVSURFGRU Long Beach. All things considered, I had a lot of fun. From the bars of Milwaukee and Chicago, to the Hollywood Hills, I had a blast. I recently got in contact with a good friend from my COMNAVSURFGRU days, he just made Chief. A lot of good times, a lot of good friends. I am proud to have served and I'm proud of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
