David's Story
Life
After high school, I got involved in acting at the Community Theatre level, which I did for many years. Eventually I got into directing. In 2000, I was Artistic Director of the Chino Community Theater, but had to give it up due to work.
After high school, I went to Chaffey College where I got involved in Performance Art. I've taken classes and performed through-out southern California, including "Highways" in Santa Monica and "Sushi" in San Diego. "Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomorrow" was performed at Red Hill Park in Rancho Cucamonga. My magnum opus "Bruises" was performed at Da Gallery in Pomona.
After high school, I got a job as a Library Page at the Chino Branch Library. I worked for the San Bernardino County Library System for eleven years. They just kept promoting me. My speciality was Library Programming for Teenagers. By the end of my ...Expand for more
career there, I was traveling, giving presentations at Library Conventions, and giving interviews for magazines. I've been before the California State Assembly. I've won awards from the State and County, including the County Employee of the year. Unfortunatly, in 2000, I gave it all up for money.
In 2000, I accepted a position with Symantec Corporation (the makers of Norton AntiVirus, Norton Internet Security, etc.). I manage several teams in their consumer products division in their Culver City office.
In 1997, I married Pauline Wong. We met through the library. In 1999, she gave birth to my son Tyler Scott Coleman. In 2001, she gave birth to my daughter Bethany Lee Coleman.
In September 2007, I filed for divorce. The divorce was final in July 2008.
I currently live in an apartment in Ontario, and my two children attend Cortez Elementary.
