Sean's Story

Life After highschool, I spent the next 5 years at LSU, first as a Math major planning to move into the Education graduate program, then as a Real Estate Finance major after taking intro education and talking to Mrs. Rosenwasser (Adams friends should know that name) and several other teachers. It just wasn't right for me. I went into Real Estate Finance at the end of my sophomore year because I had been assigned to work in the Real Estate Research Institute in the LSU Dept of Finance and liked the work I was seeing from the professors' classes. I ended up staying there as a student worker all 5 years (and basically acting as a grad assistant for the last 2). I'm now a commercial real estate appraiser in Baton Rouge, thoug...Expand for more
h I do work all around Louisiana (and sometimes out of state). For those things I'm guessing people remember me by, yes, I still have the violin and viola. I can still play them, though since Baton Rouge doesn't have any civic/community orchestra I don't really get to. The only music I took in college was Music Appreciation (an easier class for me than, say, Art History, and I needed to take one of them). Another thing going on with me is being active in Tigerland Kiwanis, a new Kiwanis club several Circle K (the college branch of Kiwanis, like Key Club is for high school) alums have formed to cater to young professionals (and not your standard Kiwanis club with an average age around 60... we have no members over 30).
