Cliff's Story
Cliff is from Lynwood, Huntington Park, Cypress, & Dublin California.I've managed to live in San Antonio TX, Rantoul IL, Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights CA & Anchorage AK. Once fought fires for a living, but now am a truck driver and well suited as a single man. Was married once(13 yrs) & had a kid(now deceased)
His schools include Damron Elementary (Cypress, Ca.) Dublin High School. He later attended La Mirada Community College Extension at Elmendorf AFB at Anchorage AK.(Basic Computer Programming).

Goofy as young women can be, one day she grabbed my right hand and bit down on the fleshy edge below the little finger. No one else can see the marks, but I still can. I now live in the central valley, bought a house after renting for 30+ years. Married Rhonda Hatfield back in '76, spent 9.5 years in the USAF. Was a firefighter for 6 years and just a vehicle operator for 3.5. Have been a commercial truck driver since leaving the service in early '85. Tankers... I like tankers. From the super cold (-430°F) Cryogenics, acids, bases, food-grade, refined petroleum. hot oil, bulk oil. Tried my hand at driving from one side of the country to the other by myself... it's not for me. Hazardous waste, flatbed (coiled steel out of USS/Possco in Pittsburg) lumber, equipment, pneumatic, cars, tow trucks, the mail... I've worked in Chevron, Shell, Unocal (Phillip 66/Conoco), Valero (Exxon), Tesoro refineries, fueled trains (UP and CalTrain, California Northern, AmTrak) spent years fueling other trucking companies... Coke, Roadway, Yellow Freight, dbi, Markstein, Central Concrete, Bode, Columbus, BFI, Sunset Scavengers, RGW, DeSilva Gates, Granite Rock, quarries, the USCG... from the south bay to Eureka, east to Murphy.
Divorced Rhonda in '89, have had a few relationship, but mostly live alone. I build water fountains out of wine barrels, built cabinets, weld steel, use to ride motorcycles... but haven't in a few years. Irritate the crap out of people at times, but then I'm not the quiet person I use to be. Have a short list of friends, but they are the ones that will give until it hurts... Just like me.
Starting a new chapter, as of 03.09.21 Black Dragon Transport, LLC was born in Wyoming, expanded to CA in 07.25.21 and is about to traverse the roadways of the western US hauling Food grade Liquids for the manufacturered food industry. Retirement... Not in my play book.
At 65 yrs when most are looking forward to retirement... I started a trucking company and come Nov of '23 I will have been running up and down California's roadways for a yr delivering all sorts of food grade liquids... So keep an eye open, if you see a white mack pulling a shiny tanker, check for the dragon on the side... It will be me!
