Serena's Story
Life
Almost 20 years out of highschool and I'm still a "band geek". I have been married for almost 17 years and we have two great Children. Our oldest is Whitney who is a Sophomore at Mac High School and our youngest is Chris who is an 8th grader at Mac Middle School. Both kids are into everything. Whit is on the marching band color guard and plays the french horn for concert season. When she is not doing band she is dancing, volunteering, or attending NHS or STUCO meetings. Chris is a trumpet player and is in choir. They both do martial arts. I try to be very involved in all of their activities. using my history degree to its fullest extent, but my research/organization skills come in handy for my job. I am looking forward to our up-coming reunion. I am in the hopes that my friends Loren Gray, Mollie Gray, and Brad Setser will be able to attend as well.
School
I remember band trips, Key Club trips, Saturday nights at home with my friends watching "B" rated movies on Elvia Mistress of the dark, broken hearts, popcorn fights and playing the "fight song" at football games. We really had it good and just didn't know how to appreciate it. I still see some of my teachers. Thank God for them! Because they cared enough to teach a bunch of unappreciative, brain sucking, know-it-alls.
