Sergio's Story
Life
15 years later, and it seems like yesterday. After HS I completed my AA at Cypress College before transferring to Cal State Fullerton where I earned my BA in English. I worked my way through college as a bill collector, and assistant wrestling coach at JFK.
While working on my teaching credentials, I was hired as a proposal writer for a large firm headquartered in Columbus, OH but with offices in Orange. That is where I met my wife Katina.
In 1999, I got a promotion, I got married, relocated to the company headquarters in Ohio and purchased a home.
In December of 2000, my daughter Corrina was born.
In March of 2002, I went to work as a National Sales Executive for a company based in Chicago
In January of 2003, I got divorced and retained custody of my daughter Corrina.

ts that I knew from the industry. I was VP of Sales. My clients were responsible for 80% of the company revenue. When I left we had 295 employees.
In August 2007, I decided it was time to do it again, and I became a 28% owner of a start up that I am helping build with some different cats that I know from the industry. This time I am just Executive Vice President and have a vote in the board meetings.
My daughter is now 6 1/2 and started first grade. She and I take piano lessons together, and I help coach her Soccer team. I also volunteer in the church office during religious education. I am third degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Over the course of my travels, I have visited 40 states, 148 cities. I am hoping to get a lot more international traveling in once the new company is up and running. My daughter and I have our passport read to go at a moment's notice.
