During High School I joined the Navy and shipped out that summer. I went to boot camp in Florida and then to my "A" school in Meridian MS. Once in Meridian I volunteered for Submarine duty and went to Groton CT. to attend Sub School, was assigned to the USS Trepang SSN 674. While on the USS Trepang I traveled to Spain, France, Italy, Sardinia, England, surfaced at the North Pole, Puerto Rico and all over the Caribbean. We tracked Russian subs and surface ships, dropped off SEALS and recon marines during the assault on Grenada. After the Navy I worked numerous jobs including a Dairy (Meadowland Creamery) for several years until I attended College during the day and worked at Banana Bay on lake Conroe at night. I stopped college 1 semester from graduating and attended a Law Enforcement Academy in 1994.
