Shane's Story

Life After graduation, joined the Army for an 8 year stint, met and married a girl from PA. Lived 4 years in Chicago and moved to Spring Grove PA, and have 2 wonderful boys. I work for Snyders of Hanover, and spend whatever free time watching college football, especially the Razorbacks, when I can, and tooling around the Internet. I lost track of some really goood people along lifes path and am looking to track at least a few down! Life is so short, enjoy a good beer and good friends!! School I started Elementary school in Oden and in the 8th grade moved to Mena and ended up in Hatfield before years end. We moved once again after the 10th grade and I spent the last two years in Ashdown. As a result I met quite a few great people, but close friends that I have managed to keep up with are few. After the military I started work on my degree. Two children have put a pause on that for now. My current job will allow me to work on finis...Expand for more
hing it! Workplace I am currently a production supervisor for Snyder's of Hanover. I work third shift and have a great crew of people! The work is a constant challenge, it is never the same, keeps you on your toes! I enjoy working third shift as it is a much more relaxed enviroment and your on your own to make your decisions and carry them out! Military Was off to bootcamp at Fort Knox in Sept 86, then to Erlangen Germany, C Company 3/34 Armor which was redesignated 2/70 Armor in 87 I think. Left Germany in Jan 89 to Fort Hood Texas and ended up being put at 1 Brigade 2AD Headquarters to drive the Brigade Commander. I stayed there the whole time at Fort Hood, drove the Col during Desert Storm and when we came back I went to ENT school in Fort Sam and was stationed at Fort Belvoir VA. That was where I met my wife who was going to RN school and joined as an officer in the Navy. I got out and she got in!! All in all I had a great time!
