Shane's Story

Life After St. Joseph's School, I went to Woodview Elementary School in Grafton (next to John Long High-School I think it was called?) for 5th and 6th grade. At St. Joe's, I was a straight A and B student.. When I got switched to Woodview (a public school), I didn't like it, and I didn't like the teacher. Somewhere around the same time, my older brother, who I was extremely close to, left for The Navy, and somehow in the mix, I just, stopped doing homework. I went from straight A's and B's, to straight D's and F's pretty much. After 6th grade, we moved "up north" to Three Lakes, Wisconsin, near Rhinelander and Eagle River. I stayed in public school there up until 9th grade, at which point I switched over to getting homeschooled due to problems between the school and it's students. (I wasn't the only one.. Kids were leaving in hoards every year. We'd usually lose about 3 classmates a year, some of them switched to homeschool as well.).. Since then, we've moved back down to the Milwaukee area, and as of right now I'm still homeschooled, though I'm not sure if we'll be able to keep up the payments, so I'll most likely end up going to get my HSED or GED whatever they call it =P. As of right now, I don't have a car or license, and due to that have no way a...Expand for more
round to get a job. However, my older brother works at Potawatami Bingo And Casino in Milwaukee as a poker dealer, and in early 2005, after they expand the poker rooms, I should be working there as a Chip Runner, and moving in with my older brother so he can bring me to work until I can save up money to get my license and a car. If I get tired of being a chip runner after a while, I'm going to get trained as a blackjack dealer, or a poker dealer, not sure which. I play alot of Texas Hold 'Em Poker, so as of right now, that's where I get my money until I can get that job. I was taught by my older brother, who was taught in part by Daniel Negreanu (he's a famous texas hold 'em poker player, in 2004 he's the leader in poker tournament points.).. So, I guess that's about it. Almost everyone I know says I'm one of the nicest/sweetest people they know, I get along with almost everyone, so despite my current living/financial situation at the time (until I can get that job), I'm pretty happy for the most part! I mainly came on here to get in touch with old class-mates, like everyone else is, LoL, but especially some of those from St. Joseph's that I havn't talked to in years! (-- I'll be putting up some pics as soon as we find the digital camera -- )
