Shani/Shanen's Story

Life After leaving Bisbee I went to college and got an associates degree in business mgmt., however that degree is only used in managing my family since I got married over 13 years ago. I met my husband through a friend 15 years ago and we have been together ever since. He is a great man and my best friend. My husband supports our family of 5 children ranging in age from 5 to 18. I teach regularly at my church, The Rock Church & World Outreach Center in San Bernardino, CA and I LOVE it. I guess I'm not the quiet shy person I used to be, we have anywhere from 70 to 125 kids on a given sunday morning class. Our life is so much different than I would have thought. We were on the wrong path for a while, and even split up, but a good friend of mine encouraged us to talk things over and we worked things out. We started going to church about 10 years ago. o Bisbee in forever. I used to miss living there, but not anymore. I do however miss some of my old friends from time to time. I wish I knew where you all were. You know who you are. If you are visiting classmates and see my name there, please send me a note :) <>< **Update:2-7-09 Well-over three years later...a few things changed. There is an update on all my kids attached to a picture of Jordan with that car. We lost my brother in law to cancer summer "07. He was too young, went too fast, and left behind my baby sister and their 3year old little girl. They moved back to AZ, and just bought a house in Sahuarita near my brother and his family. Samantha got married and has a new baby...she is the mom of a baby about the same age as my grandbaby...lol. I'm still in Rockville, teaching kids in 2nd through 6th grade. I love the word of God, and I love getting the kids excited about learning it. We are growing and going to the next level...what an amazing adventure life is.
