Shannon's Story
Oh where to start...After high school I became a nanny and got married on a whim in 1993. My husband was in the Navy and we transfered to Whidbey Island Washington in 1994 where our oldest daughter Shelby was born. In 1995 we were transfered back to Moffett due to my daughters heart problems. My husband got out of the Navy in 1997 and we moved to Los Banos and had our secong daughter Darby. rt surgery. I became very active with the American Heart Association on behalf of Shelby. In 2005 Shelby had a heart transplant and we had to live at the Ronald McDonald house at Stanford for 2 months. In 2006 my husband got transfered by his company to Lehi, UT to be a field service engineer for IM Flash Technologies. In 2007 we welcomed our fourth daughter Aynsleigh who sadly passed away at six weeks due to heart problems, but mainly due to ignorant Utah doctors.
