Shannon's Story
After graduation and turning 18, I joined the US Navy--to see a bit more of the world, get some work experience and the GI Bill. Bootcamp in Orlando, Florida. Dental Assisting & Prosthetic School in San Diego. Stationed the last 3 years st Barbers Point, Hawaill!

I retired Dental Hygiene for health reasons in 1998. My husband is retired from the US Postal Service. We started a part-time pet-sitting business in 2007--we love animals!
We live on 5 acres in NE Washington State. We have 3-dogs, 5-pot-bellied pigs, 1-cat and a feral domestic rabbit that dug her way into our garage--despite abundant preditors in the area, she continues to live there! She is slowly starting to trust us since we've been leaving food and water out for her.
I have 2 adult stepchildren and 3-grandsons. All live in Austin, TX where David & I met in 1995, and married in 1996. Still in love, walking thru life hand in hand, meeting the unexpected directions life can take, the good & the bad--still smiling!!
