Shannon's Story

Life I live in Marion, Iowa. I am married and have a son, Austin who is 14, a daughter, Cappra who is 8 and a son, Braeden who is 7. I work full-time as an accountant at United Fire Group. I will have my MBA completed in May 2009 and I am looking forward to a break from school. I enjoy spending my free time with my family & friends. My oldest son is on a traveling baseball team so the summers are packed with baseball after baseball game. My youngest two are also in their own activities, so it doesn't leave a lot of time for just mom. However, Michelle (Moger) and I always make time to have coffee at Coffeesmith's about every other week. It is our girls night out and a break away from life. ch & his wife, Stephanie are missionaries to Russia and are currently living in Kiev, Ukraine. I have a sister Tabetha, who my parents adopted when she was 15. She lives in Fort Dodge, Iowa and is getting married in April 2009 and then will be moving to Los Angeles where her fiance is from. For those of you who knew my parents, they are the same, just older, of course my mother still gets mistaken for my sister (lucky her). My parents are doing good. They are enjoying all of their grandchildren and it seems they have more of a social life these days than I do. Hope to see my old friends & classmates again in the future. College I completed my undergrad at Coe College. I completed a double BA in both Managerial Accounting & Business Administration. I am now working towards my MBA with an emphasis in Corporate Financial Management.
