Shari's Story
After I left Fleur du Lac, I finished high school at Del Valle High in Walnut Creek, CA. I took my first college courses on World Campus Afloat - this is on the S.S. Ryndam - a ship that took us around the world in four months. Attended Western State college in Gunnison, CO (for the skiing, more than anything else!) and got interested in anthropology. Moved down to Flagstaff, AZ, Graduated from Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Radiology. I worked as an X-Ray Tech in Colorado for five years, mostly in Estes Park. having discovered Aikido. Trained and taught Aikido for 27 years. Along the way, I became a certified masseuse, and became a partner of Aikido of Diablo Valley in Concord, CA. I retired from Aikido in 2007 due to knee problems, among other things.
Life is good! I'm an active member of Unity Center of Walnut Creek. I travel a lot, am owned by a cat, and help others when opportunity and finances allow. I like the quiet life, and very much enjoy editing video. I love to create a good DVD, and work as a freelancer. You can find my website using my name, ShariDyer
