Shari's Story
Life
I lived in the Ohio Valley from 1971 to 1992 when I returned to Saginaw. Then I moved to Georgia in 2005. This weather is a lot easier on these old bones and joints. I live here with my husband Jesse and my kitty Onyx. I had to retire from nursing in 2003 due to back surgery, but I stay VERY occupied with church work. I am the head of the Hospitalities Ministry which deals with all of the meals prepared there, and believe me, they have been having a LOT of dinners. I also have to organize the greeters there. I am also active in the Senior Choir, and am the president of it. And more recently, I have joined a community choir which will be cutting a CD soon and will also be going on tour to New York and North Carolina.

I have ever wanted. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he was a God given gift to me. No, not perfect! But who is??? But he is the next best thing to it. Together we have 11 kids, 23 grands, and counting, and 5 great grands, and counting.
One thing that I always loved to do was travel, and traveling I did. I have been to England, Scotland, France, Germany, Belgum, Holland, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Nigeria and Ghana, as well as our neighbors Canada and Mexico, and many of our own United States from the Atlantic to the Pacific.
Another thing that I love to do is cook, and also love to have people in for dinner. I love to feed folks, but will NOT contribute to them getting drunk.
Well, I guess that's about all there is that I can think of to tell you about me, at least for now. :-)
