Shari's Story
Life
HI Everyone! After high school I attended a year at MCC and then joined the Navy. I spent 3 years over seas and did a lot of growing up (some of which I considered too much way too fast). Needless to say, what does not kill a person only makes them stronger.
I have two cats, Chance and Boe and 1 hermit crab named Ms. Wiggles. I have been blessed with 3 great kids (19 yr. old girl, 14 yr old boy, and, 11 yr. old boy). Brianna, Lane and Jordan. I have one husband, Jeffrey, who is my soul mate and best friend. This is my second marriage. I have been working in a Banner Hospital here in Mesa since 1989.
My daughter, Brianna, just graduated from Westwood High. Wow! That sure did bring back memories. To be honest, I didn't even feel old like some people say they do when their child graduates from school.
I am still active with my long distance running and continue to compete with the stop watch. I am still a goof ball and love to laugh and enjoy life; I have learned to laugh at my mistakes as well as my accoplishments because if I take myself too da...Expand for more
rn serious I won't have any fun at all.
I am currently in school learning now to do diagnostic imaging for Nuclear Medicine...I really love to learn...now:) Amazing how things change; I never thought I would be a "lifer" in school, but as it seems, I have a passion for it..go figure. Medicine has a way of keeping those in the field in school because science is always changing and new discoveries are always surfacing. I find it very fascinating and rewarding.
As for my past experiences up until now, I will say it the best way I know how:
Life is short, so live it.
Don't regret past mistakes,
Learn from them.
Enjoy the good times and
Be grateful for the hard times;
They will set you free.
Be honest with yourself first,
Then being honest with others
Will be simple.
Listen to your friends,
They will tell you the truth
Even when it hurts you.
Love your neighbor as you
Love yourself and forgive people
AS you would be forgiven.
For all people are fallable
Just like you.
