Sharon's Story

Life I have been in Texas since 1969. My husband is still not sure I am classified as a true Texan! But we love it here. The humidity is great for the skin! I am an Administrative Assistant, I have worked in Insurance, Law and Real Estate. Currently I work with an independent Real Estate Firm, DeGeurin Realty, Inc. My husband, Terry and I will celebrate 20 years of marriage on the 16th of December, 2001. It has been the best 20 years of my life. God gave me a wonderful soulmate and marriage partner. st wrote 11 years have passed! WOW! I changed jobs in 2005 and went to work with my son-in-law in the medical field. My position was administration and accounting. We started with four people and a conference room at 'Starbucks". We now employee over 50 employees and contractors and deal with clinics in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. It has been quite a journey. Just this week I moved my office back home and vow to take some time off. Working 60+ hours a week has been my lifestyle. Now I think I will do it in 40 :). We have added one more grandchild during this time and all five are a blessing to us! We have made four trips across 'the pond' to Croatia, Switzerland, Ireland, St Martin, WI. What awesome experiences. One day I hope to make it to Australia.
