Sharon's Story
Life
I grew up in the country and was very introverted (quiet and kept to myself). I married young and althought the 1st marriage didn't work, I kept trying and when I got to the 3rd marriage, he was definitely a keeper.
Now I love to talk to strangers as long as they are good people. I do genealogy research and meet with lots of people from all over the country in person and thru the internet, and help them with their research. I have had my own Harley for nearly 30 years and love to ride it on trips. I have a very loving husband who lets me be myself and always lends a helping hand when I need it.
Our class motto at Charter Oak School was 'find a way or mak...Expand for more
e one'. I live by that motto along with the serenity prayer. If everyone said that prayer, there would be no problems in the world. My favorite is from Alfred E. Newman of Mad Magazine... "What, Me Worry?"
I have 4 children and 6 stepchildren. Fortunately they are all grown up. :-) They live all over the country including Califonia, New York, Louisiana (N. O.) and Ohio. Still have family back home in Illinois.
I have been gone from there since 1978.
