Sharon's Story
Life
After High School I attended Towson University where I swam for the Women's team and then joined the dance team. I was captain of the dance team Jr. and Sr. years.
I've worked in a variety of jobs over the past several years. I am currently working for for the Appraisal Institute in the association management field. I love what I'm doing.
I am married to an Awesome Aussie. We met while he was here playing lacrosse for Team Australia and have been married since 1988. We have two children. Clare is 17 and Richard is 16. They are both involved with sports (swimming & lacrosse). Clare recently played Eva Peron in Evita, directed by a award-winning Broadway director. Boy can the girl sing!
PBHS Class of '82: Check out the photo album of our 25th reunion. I need help for the 30th. I'll sign on for one more.
School
High School was an interesting time for me. I spent the first half of high school in San Diego at Mira Mesa High School. My Class is the only class to attend MMHS from 7th through 12th grade....Expand for more
I was fortunate enough to be cast in several musicals at Mira Mesa. I was devastated to leave. I earned my varsity letter in Swimming in 9th grade at MMHS and ran middle distance.
Upon transferring to Paint Branch in Burtonsville, MD I had to acclimatize myself to a more conservative East Coast culture. Sophomore year at PBHS was a learning year for me. I continued to swim at PBHS. I sang in the choir, madrigals and was in the plays. I also made Poms my senior year only to quit once I made call backs for Lola in Damn Yankees. My perception of PBHS was I fit in everywhere and nowhere. I wouldn't change a thing.
I would love to hear from my classmates from both MMHS and PBHS. It's always nice to hear how life has been treating you. MMHS, hopefully I'll be able to make the 25 year reunion. The 20th looked like so much fun. PBHS, let's start planning EARLY for the 25th. I think a lot of people would like to have attended the 20th, but didn't have enough notice to make plans. Count me in on the planning committee!
