Sharon's Story

I have been married for 43 years to Donald Barnes. We have one daugher, 2 grandsons and 2 step grandsons. We live in a very small town where I am the First Baptist Church secretary. We moved here to restore an 1895 Victorian home that sits on six acres of land. (That was always my dream). We have mostly completed...Expand for more
it (it's one of those lifelong things). My 98-year old mother lives with us. My husband still commutes daily to work in Dallas - about 75 miles one way - and has for 22 years. My daughter is a nurse and lives about 40 miles from us. Our grandchildren are the joy of our lives, and we love to travel, when we can.
