Sharon's Story
My wonderful husband, Dave and I have been married for 29 years (30 come next June 1st) We dated three days, became engaged on the fourth and were married 3 mos. later. And they said it wouldn't last! That's pretty good considering we are both from divorced families. We have 5 children- Beau (27) married to Heather (both served missions in Lansing, MI) and the parents of 3 children (I'm a Grandma!!) Lance (5) kindergarten and his twin sisters, Mary and Johannah (19 mos) they all are the joy of my life! Our only daughter, Sara (26) works for a chiropractor and is getting ready to go back to school. She went on a mission for our church to Dallas, TX. Tom (25) music major Ball State Univ. Muncie, IN graduates with BA in May. He's just getting degree because he spent 2 years on a mission in Uganda and Ethiopia. Daniel (23) returned last year from Iraq (Army Reserves) and promptly married his sweetheart, Jessica in Jan. 2008. She is finishing her masters program this next May in Ft. Collins, CO and then they will go to Laramie so Dan can get his degree and ROTC commission for the Army. They are expecting their first child in June. And finally our youngest, Jon (20) is currently serving in the Tallahassee, FL Mission- spanish speaking- his mission includes the states...Expand for more
of Mississippi and Alabama. He is currently in Alabama. He has an incredible singing voice and amazing acting abilities.
We have been incredibly blessed with our children, grandchildren and our marriage. As you know NOTHING is perfect. That's what makes life so fun! We have lived in UT, CA, CO, NC, Germany and now WY. We have lived in Casper, WY for 19 years and this is where our children call home. It's a great place to raise boys because of the all the outdoor activities.
For the past 20 years, Dave has worked for Philips Medical Systems as a field service engineer. He installs and maintains CT, MRI, Nuclear, X-Ray, etc. all over the state of Wyoming and sometimes down into Colorado. He's on the road a lot but he enjoys not being stuck behind a desk. I stayed home and raised our children until I was offered the current office manager position that I have had for the past 6 years. I work for a construction company. We do commercial construction- a lot of schools, office buildings, jails, etc.
Our lives are very active with church commitments, work and family.

The last time I was in CA was Jan. 2001. I travel all the time but mainly east as our son, Tom has been in Indiana for the past two years.
