Sharon's Story
Life
I left Homestead in 1988 and haven't looked back. I've been married for 18 years to my husband Ron and have 2 beautiful children ages 13 and 10. My husband is off playing in the sand again but will be home by the summer of 09. I'm currently working as an Orthotist at the hospital on post and I'm still involved with our Family Readiness Group to help other spouses with deployed soldiers. ng into Taekwando and preparing for the upcoming Junior Olympics in Iowa. We just live in the moment and enjoy the family time that we have together. We have 3 dogs-a Maltese named Max and a Pomeranian named Princess and a Yorkie names Harley and 2 cats named Whiskers and Oreo. We are currently living in Clarksville Tennessee. Most likely we will retire here when the Army is through with us or look for a warmer climate. I'm not sure if we will ever make it back to Florida but maybe S.C. or Georgia.
