Sharon's Story
Berwyn, IL. Stayed 3 months. We were newly married, and the big city scared me to death. I'm just a country girl.
Healthy, traveling the world on land and sea with my husband.
Burned itself out after a couple of months.
Tend to buy same style over and over. Not really a fashion nut!
Bookkeeper at a meat packing plant. Wasn't exactually weird, but I was young, and the place was overrun with men.

Going down to the creek with friends, which was frozen over. One person wondered out too far and fell in. Almost drowned.
As a nice person with a big heart, willing to help anyone out, staying true to my Catholic faith although teased about it by those who pretended not to be Catholic as it was more important to them to be popular and accepted.
Aunt Thelma and Aunt (Sister Vernard) Rosalie, both fun outgoing sensitive women with great sense of humor.
