Life
Hey, how's it going.Well I grew up on the East Mountain.My Dad Ed Post owned POST'S GULF GAS STATION( POST'S TRUCK RENTALS) at Upper Ottawa and Mohawk that alot of the guys I went to school with worked part time at, if they weren't working at Pee Wees Pizza on Crockett.I attended Peace Memorial for kindergarten.Went to Blessed Sacrament for grades 1 to 3,then went back to Peace Memorial grades 4 & 5. On to Highview for Grades 6,7 & 8.( I was the school Treasurer in Grade 6 )And then on to Sherwood.I then went to Marvel Cosmetology School and recieved my hairstlying license.I worked on Concession St. at a Salon called London Unisex. I got married to J.B. from Sherwood,unfortunately it ended in divorce.From 1975 til 1979, I worked in the Cosmetic Dept. in Woolco at Eastgate Square Started my career at A&P/The Barn/Superfresh/Metro in 1979 and loved it so much I'm still there.(HA HA)..I remarried and had two beautiful daughters(Candice and Caitlin) that were attending Hillpark and Mohawk College.My oldest daughter Candice is now working for a law fir...Expand for more
m .My other daughter Caitlin works at Henderson Hospitall.Divorced yet again, only to truly find my real love and best friend[three times a charm]..Still living on the Mountain, taking care of my Dad, in his home.We lost my Lil' Mom on November 25th, 2008.We bought a home up North that eventually we will retire to, it's 10 mins. from Sauble Beach , in Oliphant, & we are 3 houses down from the Beach.I'm going to be a first time grandma in November, 2013,so excited, Well I am a Grandma now or as I like to be called Nana...Lucas Abel was born on November 25th, 2013, 7 lbs. 7 oz. on the 5th Anniversary of my Lil' Moms passing, what a true Blessing he is ... Lost my Li'l Dad on May 13th, 2014, (my Mom's Birthday)..I miss him terribly..I was Blessed with another Grandson Jacob Edward Jose , born on January 28th, 2015..Living up North now & very blessed both my daughters moved up here also & my grandbabies..Would love to hear from some of the old gang.Even to just say Hi!!..If your on FaceBook, please feel free to send a Friend Request.Take Care!
