Life After graduation, I went to college at Southwest Texas which is where I met my husband, Rusty, in 1987. He joined the Marine Corps to become a pilot, so when we married in 1990, we moved to one of the many wonderful locales the Marine Corps offers. Starting in 1990 we lived in Corpus Christi, TX, Beeville, TX, across the country to Cherry Point, NC(as that is where the Harrier AV8B guys are trained), back across to Yuma, AZ, from the Low Desert to the High Desert and 29 Palms, CA and finally to Kingsville, TX in 1997. For any of you counting, that is 6 moves in 7 years. We left the Military life in 1999, when Rusty began to fly for a 'major' airline . We have been in the Fort Worth area for 2 years. During all those moves we also managed to have 2 sons. Chase is 10 yrs old and was born in Houston while Rusty was in Japan during one of his 6 month deployments. For our next son God decided that Rusty could be there for the birth -- Shane was born on the Marine Corps Base in 29 Palms and is 7 yrs. old.
