ver thirteen years, I loved developing relationships with my patients, most of them have came to feel like family to me. I was there for so many of their milestones; their children being born, leaving for college, getting married, and here also for their losses, diseases and death. I knew my work was important, but when a patient calls me with a problem and says, "I knew that I could talk to you about this", I just felt so privileged to be in a position to help them. My work was a joy, and a responsibility, that I took very seriously. When Tim and I married, it was a very difficult decision to leave the medical chapter of my life behind, but when a door closes, a window opens. I have done a one-eighty, and frankly, I love it! I am working for Wal-Mart! I was recently promoted to Support Manager for the Tire and Lube Express Department. This is my second promotion in seven months. I am really enjoying the work, as well as the new group of guys that I work with. I love the way people react to finding me in the "boys area". My life has changed so much, and I am enjoying every second of it!
