Kyle's Story
Life
My husband Mike and I have been married since December, 1987. We are blessed with our son, Nicholas, who is 18, and just starting college. We have lived in eastern Michigan, first Rochester Hills and then Lake Orion, since 1993. We also lived in Florida for 18 months in 1989 & 1990, and our son was born in Vero Beach. We have a standard poodle puppy, Gracie, who is 1 year old. We also have four cats, Daisy, Minnie, Kitty, a stray we took in last fall, and Leo, a stray we just took in. I started working in my son's elementary school when he was in 2nd grade and stayed there until 2002. unt of weight over the years, I had gastric bypass surgery in March, 2006. I have lost 115 pounds and kept it off for more than a year now. I celebrated my 50th birthday and weight loss in 2007 by getting a tattoo, which I absolutely love! I just got two more small tattoos (it's true that they can be addicting!) I have been blessed.
My brother Gary, who graduated in 1973, lives in North Muskegon with his wife, Chris (they married in 1984) and three daughters. He is an attorney.
Gary and I are blessed to still have both of our parents. They divorced in 1977, but they have a good relationship, and we also have a great stepmother.
