Sharron's Story

I went on to Carson Newman College majoring in Art and Communications. I married a guy from Florida and we moved to Tampa. My career began in Tamps in the advertising/marketing agency business where I lived for 13 years. During this time I divorced and re-married a chef and we owned a catering business and restaurants in Tampa. I was also fortunate to work for McDonald/s and Wendy's in their marketing divisions which catapulted me to executive positions with Hardee's in Detroit and on to the Corporate Headquarters in Rocky Mt.,NC. I divorced again (yes, I am a serial divorcee)In 1989 I packed up the kids and headed to Atlanta to work for Coca-Cola where I stayed for the next 9 years and also managed to stay single for more than a year. In 1999, after a fullfilling and stellar career with Coke I retired from the corporate life to becoming an entrepreneur, artist and author. I re-married in 1999 to (it's ok I did therapy)a wonderful man and 10 years later we are still together. Ashley and Justin are grown, and I have two stepdaughters and three grandchildren. Now I teach art, own a couple of businesses that promote art, creativity and brand development for small business.
