Shaun's Story
Life
I left the Navy in '97. I am now married (again) I've got the wife, the house, the kid and the 2 cars. I left to get a life, and now am pretty sure I've got one.
I did "IT support" for 10 years, but am starting in a new direction in March 08. I am contracted to support a major Multi-Service command in the area.
College
This really shouldn't count as "Going to college" I have mostly taken some courses in order to pursue computer certifications.
***update: I finished my BA in International Relations in 2015, and my MA in National Security in 2018.

t a website and a Government Contractor at a major DOD establishment, working in the IT field. I am now starting a new direction as an International Programs Analyst, at the same command.
***Update: I am now a govt employee for the Joint Staff working with our Foreign Liaison Officers on Force Development projects.
Military
Active Duty Navy from 1984 to 1997, Served onboard 2 aircraft carriers, a strategic radar site, and 3 years in London. Left as an E6 with 13 years. Why? Because they let me.
Went into the Naval Reserve and was advanced to Chief Petty Officer first time up. Guess they were waiting for me. Due to previous job conflicts, I finished my last couple of years in the Inactive Reserve. I retired in April of '05.
