Shauna's Story
Life
I graduated from Ohio State in 1994 with a degree in Wildlife Management. My intention was to be a Wildlife Officer with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. After graduation I worked at Meijer while attending Eastland Police Officer Academy. I couldn't get a job with the Department of Natural Resources (very difficult to get into) so I ended up at the Morrow County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy in 1996 and never left. ou never know what you're going to get from day to day. You definitely see some strange things and people in a jail.
I got married in 1998 and everything is great. I have a 13 year old stepson that lives with his mom outside of Utica, but we see him frequently.
I have lived in Mt. Gilead since 1996, but would like to move outside of town with a bigger house and a little more land. Don't care for living right in town too much.
