Shaundra's Story
Life
Things have been crazy busy. Been working two jobs since May 2007...part time with autistic kids during the day, and full time in a chemical dependency program for teen girls at night. Pretty much a workaholic...soon to be adding school to the mix after taking fall 2007 semester off. Not really in contact with many people from school. I see people around once in awhile, but nobody really acknowledges each other anymore. It's quite sad really. :(
School
Well my biggest crush would definitely have to be Matt Trigger. I seriously stalked that boy from the time I was in 7th grade until he moved to college fall 2002. I would walk by his house numerous times a day, gaze at him from across the room at brunch, and made sure I passed him on my way to every class. I KNOW he noticed me. Hell how could he not? My fave teachers would have to be Mr. Hites, Mr. Moore--the OLD one LOL--, and oddly enough Mrs. Sanchez most...Expand for more
ly because she helped me to expand in a literal sence. One of my fave vivid memories from high school would be spring break of my sophomore year when my club Friday Night Live and the club Ally(sp) got to go to LA for a conference. Nothing like a bunch of high schoolers taking over three floors of a large hotel in LA! If I had to go to high school again, I definitely would! I would make it a point to be more social since I was so shy!
Workplace
Well definitely had a big transition after graduating from being a barista in a small coffee shop in a gas station where I did EVERY DAMN THING to working with kids who have autism. I love my job, but it has its moments where I just wanna walk out the door and go home,and the pay sucks. I guess it's the kids that keep me there :) Picked up a second job as a night supervisor of a group home for chemically dependent girls out in loomis. Nothing like working in your home town!
