Shawn's Story

Let's see. After high school I had a son named Alex with Gail Gammill who went to Downey High for a while and lives in La Habra Heights now. I was usually the dude with the good herb (not much changes), but got addicted to cocaine. My good friend Tina saved my life by taking me to a Grateful Dead show where I did LSD for the first time since HS and I moved to Santa Cruz, CA the next month and went on Dead tour for a few years and saw 130 shows. I never touched cocaine again and that is just about the best thing that ever happened to me. Well it's not too safe on the road and I ended up in prison for psychedelics a few times in the '90s. Fell in love with a band called the String Cheese Incident ( I know, weird name), but they could make me dance like no other band since the Dead. rts of the country like Telluride, CO, Red Rocks, The Gorge, VA, OR, WA, Las Vegas and many other place in the 107 times I saw them. Live music (played by bands with conscious intent) is church to me and dance is my prayer. I try to live my life consciously and with loving intent in all that I do. Developing and healing my emotional and spiritual self (not much difference between the two for me) and sharing that with my large group of friends that are more like family after all of the years of traveling, camping and partying together. I got married on New Years Eve in 2006 to Tree I love to garden, play hand drums and percussion, geek on my mac, work out (best shape ever!), festivals, parties, picnics, digital photos and video, and the best 420 possible. Yeah, I'm still a freek and don't plan on growing up any time soon. Otherwise I'd just get old%^)
