Shawn's Story
Life
After high school I went on a LDS mission to Salta Argentina. Once I returned from Argentina I went to Weber State University and got my bachelor's degree in spanish and chemistry. While at Weber, I met my wife Kari and we were married in the Logan temple in 1995. Two years later we moved to San Francisco, CA where I was to attend the California College of Podiatric Medicine. A week before starting my studies as a foot doctor, I decided that it just wasn't for me and I bailed out. I went back to school at SFSU where I worked on a master's degree in neural science. cisco and graduated with my DDS in 2003 and had my second son, William. After graduating from dental school we moved to Denver, CO to further my studies in an orthodontic residency (braces). We decided to do orthodontics because I just haven't had enough schooling at this point! Yeah right. I will actually finish my orthodontic studies in November of 2006 and have promised my wife that I will not do any more schooling and actually start working to pay off some debt. We are currently in the process of purchasing some land and constructing an office where I will be practicing in Spokane, WA. Oh, we are expecting our third and last child, which is going to be a girl according to the ultrasound. I hope that life finds all of you well.
