Life
Life bio? Wow, who has the time to write all of that? Well, let's see, all of you know that I was married in High School then divorced. Not his fault, not my fault, we were both young, and blamed each other. That's the past. Was remarried, and redivorced. Yep, got a pattern started, not on purpose, just happens I reckon. I have a wonderful son, Darrel. He is nine years old now and let's just say he is my life. Everything I do and have done is for him. What mommy wouldn't be that way?
I now live in Beaumont, Texas. Wanna come visit? Email me, I'll give you my address. Ain't skeered, never have been. I work for a wonderful lumber company called Ritter's. I am now the Assistant Manager. Moving up! I love it! I am one of those lucky people that can actually say I love my job! I have learned so much about building materials, especially after Hurricane Rita! That was the most terrible thing I've ever been through. Definitely don't wanna do it again.
If I could do High School all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. My life in the past has made me who I am today. I depe...Expand for more
nd on no one but myself, I have learned that to depend on a man is just not good. (No offense meant towards you fellas) Just mean that if you don't depend on anyone, then you can't be let down when they don't come through for you. This lesson in life has taught me to go for what I want, and succeed, because if I don't do it, then no one will.
Of course the saddest memory was when I lost my best friend, Jen. She was the best! Jen taught me many things and I still miss her and everyone else that we lost. I enjoy life to the fullest and worry only about today and tomorrow, not the past. Love ya Jen!
Workplace
Still working for Ritter Lumber Company. I still love it! I was promoted to management last week. I am now an assistant manager and still the trainer. In the year that I have been here at Ritter, I have learned so much about building materials! There are so many codes down here that I wonder if I will ever learn them all. With hurricanes coming through, (especially after Rita), building codes have gotten a little more stricter. But, I love to learn, and I learn something new every day!
