Shannon's Story

Life Hi! Back in the day, alot of you knew me as Shawny Brandt. I grew up most of my life in Tuolumne Co., with alot of great friends along the way. I was in no way the perfect kid. Through all the torment, my folks & I made it. I miss the old days, the old friends, the great parties in Northern Cal. I miss Marty Critchfield more than I've ever missed anyone before. ~ R.I.P.~ I married my 1st husband (mistake-Jack Hanson) in `85, by `87 I had a son & a daughter. And, by `89 I had a serious drug addiction. `92 I went through rehab. And, quit doing stupid stuff. Early `93- I went on a crazy road-trip w/ Chari Baskett, before giving up my California Partying.... then, I was off......... July`93 I moved my kids & I to Maui, Hawaii for a new life. 2000 I married my Hawaiian man, (Shadow). 2003 We built our home, on an acre in Kula, Maui, ...Expand for more
HI. And, I opened my own Landscaping business. 2004 We bought 3 acres in Hilo, HI. (the Big Island)...where we will retire. 2006.........ahhh, 2006! I'm crazy in love! I work at my pace, my schedule, and my convenience. I hunt wild pig & deer on my quad whenever I can. I love hunting! My land is covered in fruit & flower trees of all kinds. I love the outdoors! Orchids and Gardenias are my favorite flowers. I have two really great dogs. And, now that my kids are gone, I spend alot of time w/ my dogs, and fattening up my pig for Superbowl Sunday! Sunrise over Haleakala Crater, and sunsets over the ocean are incredible from my home. I like getting together w/ family & friends for beach BBQ's.
