Sheena's Story
Life
Hello! I can honestly say that life has been a major roller coaster! I have been married and divorced. I have 2 wonderful children. Shelby is 14 and Zach is 9. I have learned a lot about personal strength in the past 18 years. Turning 30 didn't bother me. Neither will 40. I figure that my thirties had to be better than my twenties. I was right. My forties are going to be even greater!
I am going to school to get a degree in medical assisting. Better late than never! I do ok with life in general. I wish that I had more time though to do all of the things that I would do. I know that I seem vague in my bio, but there is so much to say, yet I don't know where to begin.
I am in a wonderful marriage. He is very good to me and my children. We were married in May of 2006. I have a nice little house in town. I have most of the things in life that I want. I am very happy for the most part. I hope that anyone who reads this has the same contentment that I have. I wish the best for you. Feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Sheena
Well, I am married now! My new name is Sheena Rudicel-Griffin. Still the same Sheena, new name!
School
High school was great. I made lots of friends in all circles. I think that I blended in with most crowds. I loved being involved with the choral dept. I have so many fun memories of the crazy things that my friends and I did. Sandy was always so much fun to ...Expand for more
be around. I remember her leaving her shoes in typing class. You will have to ask her about that one. Deana turned out to be a wonderful friend that was able to help me with my dad's passing. Celeste could talk me into trying things that I would never have done. NOT ANYMORE!!!!! My mom can't take anymore of our shenanigans! Mr. Jones was a wonderful teacher that I looked up to. I hated that he and I had a major falling out my junior year. Time has healed that one. Mr. Hurley was wonderful also. He spoke up for me at a time when I couldn't speak for myself. I will always remember him with love and respect.
Looking back, I wish that I would have paid more attention in biology, math, and history. I had too many friends in those classes and that posed a problem. I had developed great communication skills in those classes. As if I lacked any to begin with!!!!!
Workplace
I worked at McDonalds during high school. I also helped with managing the mobile home park that I lived in. After graduation, I held a few jobs here and there. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life. I got on at Regal Rugs in 1989 and stayed there through 1998. I stayed home with my son until he was three and then I worked at Smurfitt Stone Container from 2002 thru 2005. I am now in school going for a degree in medical assisting. I hope to have a career that I can not only enjoy, but also that I can make a difference in.
