I am a Native Californian but lived in Louisiana until I was nine. My family moved back to California in 1976 and I went to several different schools, some due to relocation, some due to being drafted as a Magnet Student, and others because I found hanging out at the pond a lot more fun than sleeping through Social Studies. I went to college and graduated at 19. I Finished my Externship and went on to receive my Phlebotomy Certification. I have two children (boy & girl) who were both born before my 22 birthday. After childbirth, I Went back to school and obtained some now obsolete Computer Certifications. At 25 my husband decided it was time to relocate during the recession. So, We moved to his hometown in Idaho to be closer to his family. My husband eventually joined the Union as a Journeyman Electrician while I worked for a short time at a local hospital. I shifted gears and went to work as support staff/Office Manager for a local law firm where I remained for 8 years. After leaving the firm I worked for an appraiser as a GIS Analyst. I was married for almost 15 years but divorced after my marriage was strained after several life-changing events occurred. Such as my brother walking off in the middle of a snowstorm in 1997 & leaving a suicide note of sorts.
