Sheila's Story
Life
I am married to a really wonderful guy, John, who I met on the internet. We've been married for 5 years. I worked at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio for 25 years. Between John and I we have 3 children. Each of them has 2 children for a total of 6 grandchildren. The oldest and youngest are boys, the betweeners are girls. They range in age from 13 down to 3. Antonio) on a 7-1/2 acre farm. We grow herbs (yeah - the kind that don't make any money, ha ha) as a business. We also have 18 dachshunds and they occassionally give us a few babies to sell. Life has been tough for us this year. My father-in-law died of Alzheimer's in January, and my mother-in-law died of heart failure in March. My mother has recently been diagnosed with dementia and it is progressing very quickly. We moved her in with us about 7 weeks ago. It's tough raising parents!!
