Sheila's Story

My married life was in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My doctor husband & I raised 4 wonderful children in the 34 years that we were married. I helped establish his private practice & worked with him until he merged his practice with a group. We share 8 beautiful grandchildren. Since our marriage ended, I decided the next chapter of my life would be in Florida. I had moved to Lithia near Tampa for ...Expand for more
about 4 years. During the pandemic, I moved back to Fort Wayne, Indiana to help my daughter who just had her 3rd preemie. I enjoy very much being Grandma. Since back I have been to Germany where my oldest lives with his family. Albuquerque, & St. Louis were my sons & their families live. I also enjoyed a trip of a lifetime to Israel. I hope to do more genealogy & to add to my travels.

In 2016 I built a home in Florida. My sister, Sharon, gave me this plaque I have hanging in my kitchen as a housewarming gift. I walk by it everyday, read it & gather strength from it. Life isn’t perfection but it is good.
