Shelley's Story
Life
I grew up in Laurelton, right down the street from IS59, went to Brooklyn Tech and then started at Laguardia Community college but stooped after I had my first son in 1990. We moved to florida shortly after his birth. I went back to college and received my bachelors in Organizational Mgmt/Finance. I have been married for the last 11 years and now have 2 boys, ages 1...Expand for more
5 and 9. I work for a large FL based bank and am a Manager in an accounting dept. Somedays I really miss NY and want to come back but when I see how its changed I wouldnt trade here and the freedom my kids have. we have lots of space and land for them to run and be at peace. I do miss the night life and the culture and most of all the people I grew up with but Im happy.
