Shelley's Story
Life
I had dogs up til 1998 after my last one died I decided i wanted a break from animals. Then I got two cats they are brothers to each other. My friend who
resides with me, is very new with cats but decided along with me to get it. We
are very contented with our lives and we are very busy. I am still working for
Uncle Sam in Department of Education have been in the same office since
1979. We were formally Department of Health, Education and Welfare.
We went under big changes when Congress de...Expand for more
cided that it was too much for one Secretary to take care of all of the areas we were involved with. So we are now 2 departments. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Education. It was a good thing we got changed so we can help our fellow citizens with their complaints in the school system. We are in our 25 year as a Department of Education. And doing well. I have learned so much about people and really respect their views. It has been a very learning experience. Shelley Simms
