Shelly's Story
I live in Danville, California with my husband of 30 years, Bret Firebaugh (Gunn class of '85). We have 3 pretty awesome kids (I mean, adults!); ages 28, 26 & 23, and, best of all, I'm a Gramma to our sweet granddaughter, Payton, who is about to turn 2 in early March!! After being a full-time mom, school volunteer & daycare provider for many other children for most of my adult life, I now fill my time with volunteering for an incredible nonprofit organization called Miracle Messages (check us out at miraclemessages.org). ioned from homelessness into stable housing, reconnect with loved ones from their past that they have lost touch with. It's incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, knowing that I'm able to help change the trajectory of someone's life in a very positive way! When I'm not at our home in Danville, I can probably be found in Arroyo Grande (with my oldest daughter & granddaughter) or at our beach home in La Selva Beach.
