Sherell's Story
Life
After school I worked a few jobs and moved around alot. I moved to Buras, La. in 1990 and worked as a contract cleaning lady for two large companies and 2 homes. At 23 yrs. old I met a nice man on the job and we dated for a year and got married. I never had any children because of medical problems but, my husband had five, ages 23- 9 at the time. I raised his youngest as my own. All together we have 6 grandchildren now. We have been happily married for 10 years and have started our own business in the trucking industry. railer and run our business from our home. My life has been going well and our business is doing great. I couldn't ask for anything more execept to get in contact with my old friends from school days.
School
School was about fun for me. Hanging out in the bathroom to smoke & being with friends at recess and after lunch was my favorite parts of the day. I realize now, that without education it's hard to succeed in life. I thank God that I did learn enough to be able to make something of myself and have struggled many years to get where I am today.
