Sherri's Story
After BHS I went to Sawyer Business School and settled on Legal secretarial training. Ended up being a Legal Secretary/Assistant/Word Processor/paralegal for 35 years in Downtown L.A. Met hubby (a great guy) in Glendale on December 1, 1970 (Dwight), married on December 11, 1970 (it was right, and we KNEW it!). We had two great kids (1 boy & 1 girl). Heather (our daughter) and her hubby have two of their own (girl 14 yrs. & boy 10 mos.) and they are all in Denver with our son, Dave. Dwight and I are still together (defying the odds), still in love, and will celebrate our 40th annive...Expand for more
rsary this year (2010).
My husband began his own leak detection business in 2001, I retired shortly thereafter, and in 2004 we moved to southern Oregon (Grants Pass) to take care of my hubby's mom (now 92). We love Oregon and the atmosphere/people here.
I sure wish I still had a pic of myself "back in the day" from a yearbook, but no such luck. If you remember me at all, you might notice that the hair is blonde now (was a brunette in HS), and I'm a bunch older, but I'm still me! LOL
