Sherrie's Story
Life
Following graduation from ETHS in 1964, (a WONDERFUL experience by the way,) I attended and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. I currently substitute teach, picking and choosing which jobs I wish to take - the best program I've seen! I've taught all levels of school for 22 years. In addition, I was previously a Personnel Manager with an engineering firm in the Chicago area for 15 years, "retiring" and going back to teaching after having our daughter. the Naval Reserves, recently retiring in 2003. I am married, and we have one child, a girl, 17 years old. My husband is in management with the Department of Energy. My career in Naval Intelligence has provided me travel all over the world and has been a great experience, one I have never regretted!
Military
Twenty-four years of reserve duty with the Navy took me to many exotic and exciting places, a number of which I'd return to in a heartbeat. It was a wonderful experience, hard work at times, but yes, one I wouldn't trade for anything!
