Life After leaving NHS, I went to nursing school and after graduating, I worked at Watts hospital in cardiology. I became a cardiology tech III. I met my first husband there, who was a physcian's assistant for a cardiologist. We had one son who is now 34 yrs. old. He is married and lives in Lake Mary Florida with his wife Angela and my 4 year old grandson Jackson and Cameron Lea,my granddaughter, who just turned 2 on Aug.23,2009. I go see them as often as possible.I now work part-time for Duke Clinical Research Institute. (I do this from home). I do a cardiovascular heart study follow-up for Duke heart patients which is done over the phone. I have had some serious health issues in my life. I had a liver transplant on 4-27-92, due to a rare liver disease and the medications I take have caused some other medical problems. I have tried to see these experiences in a positive light, as opportunities to show others the faithfulness of the Lord who has been good to me and taught me what real peace is. There are times,though,that I think about my school days, and how I miss some of the old gang. But honestly I wouldn't go back.
