Sherry's Story
2011
Welcome 2011! Haven't been on ClassMates in awhile! My family is all doing well and we are looking forward to what 2011 has in store for us! Just got back from an awesome family Christmas cruise to the Mexican Riviera with the whole clan. Can't think of a better way to end the old year and start a new than to spend quality time with the people I love the most! Happy New Year!
2008
To begin this year my son Matt received an undergraduate internship with the California legislature, so he and his girlfriend packed up and transferred to Sacramento State. I am really proud and excited for them! However, I really miss both of them alot! Danny is working on finishing his AA in psychology/counseling at OCC. He thinks he should have it by the end of this summer. Joey will be finishing his junior year of high school this year. I am still working full time as a transcriptionist. Its early in the year, so I am looking forward to seeing what surprises 2008 bring!
2007
This year has been busy. Joe and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a two week cruise to Hawaii in April. It was the trip of a life time and we had a blast. Matt, my oldest is a political science major at Cal State San Bernardino and my middle boy Daniel is now at OCC. He stays at grandma and grandpa's in Tustin a few days a week while he is in school and helps them out. Joey, my youngest, will be a junior in high school. He is becoming a really great guitar player. I am still working a...Expand for more
s a transcriptionist and my retired hubby is chomping at the bit for the day I can quit so we can travel.
2006
A few years have passed, the kids are older, and so am I. Joe and I just celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary. Next year is the big one! Matt, my oldest, is almost 23 and in love with a wonderful girl. He is waiting tables and trying to finish up college. Danny, my 21-year-old works at Glen Ivy Resort and Spa in the building/grounds department. He loves his job and I get free passes. My youngest, Joey, just turned 15 and is experiencing his first year of high school. Life is good!
2004
Goodness! Have more than 25 years really gone by? My oldest son, who is 21, wants to know why I am writing to GLORY DAYS.COM. I told him I wouldn't exactly describe my high school days as such, but I had a good time back then. I assured him he will someday be looking back on his memories too! He just got back from Iraq and brought home a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. I am really proud of him! I have another boy that is 19 and my youngest is 13. No girls for me. Hopefully, I'll get a grandaughter some day. My hubby Joe and I just celebrated our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. Yep, everything is pretty boring here in Corona. We have lived here for 20 years now. I have worked at the local hospital full time as a medical transcriptionist for 10 years. In our free time we go out to the river near Parker, Arizona where we have a boat and trailer and just hang out!
