Sherry's Story
HI all ---
Has it really been almost 50 years!
I'm living in Beaverton, Oregon with my dear husband Rich Bader. We met at Intel in 1978 and were together seven years before we married in 1985.
Our son Derek Merck, his wife Lisa and our three grandchildren (Alex, age 9 and twins Vanessa and Benny, age 7) live in Barrington, Rhode Island. Derek and Lisa met at Reed College and both work at Brown University. Derek has a PhD in Computer Science and runs a 3-D Medical Imaging lab. Lisa is doing research on ...Expand for more

Our daughter Emily Bader lives nearby in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2013 and is working for a non profit in Sherwood, Oregon.
Rich retired two years ago and keeps busy designing fireworks shows, scuba diving, riding his bike and traveling.
I spend a lot of time in Rhode Island, traveling with Rich and in my quilting studio "Two Moon Quilts". I create quilted wall hangings that combine family history and fabric.
It's a good life!
