Sherry's Story
Hey y'all! A little bit about me.....on second marriage, first was 15 years until he decided to quit work and cheat every chance he got. Second now 20+ I have 4 children. Chris died in 2009 from malpractice after a long illness. He was such a sweet and funny guy. Heart of gold and never said a bad word about anybody. Buried with his great grandfather, whom he loved dearly. Tony works for the feds and lives in Alexandria, VA. He was in charge of East Asia. Brian wanted to go back to WV so we did (not my plan at all) and went back to work for the state, I hate it here. Lindsay lives in Germany with her soulmate Kevin and is engaged. She and her former husband adopted two girls via fostering. I raised all 4 on my own with an absentee father. I've lived in Texas, Colorado, Florida for 7 years, Nebraska, Illinois, Missouri, Mississippi, and NE Tennessee for 15 years,...Expand for more
which we loved. Bob is a Navy vet and a pure grump. He stepped in and helped me raise these now adults. I worked very long hours in the medical field for 45 years. Derb lived with us until he required specialized care. It's very sad. We used to work on houses (in my spare time), I've worked on geneaology for 35 years, and we loved traveling to rock/metal concerts, documenting cemeteries, meeting family historians and authors and cousins all over the US. I'm addicted to tattoos. :) I am now in a wheelchair due to 2 botched surgeries and it sucks, you work all your life to retire and enjoy the world and now this. We rescue senior dogs and know that these 3 are the last due to our age. So many of my friends from school have passed and it's heartbreaking. We never thought of any of this when we were young. I lost some Facebook friends so if any were you let me know.
